Our Story
Where heritage meets contemporary elegance — each piece tells a story of resilience, beauty, and the golden warmth of Rwanda.

Meet the Founder
Growing up in Kigali, Amara watched her grandmother weave intricate agaseke baskets — each pattern a silent language of love, prayer, and community. Those childhood hours spent tracing woven geometries planted a seed that would one day bloom into Kigali Glow.
After studying design in Nairobi and apprenticing under master goldsmiths in Marrakech, Amara returned home with a singular vision: to translate Rwanda's quiet majesty into accessories that speak without words.
“I wanted to create pieces that carry the warmth of our hills, the precision of our weavers, and the unshakeable grace of Rwandan women. Every clasp, every curve, every finish — it's a love letter to where I come from.”
— Amara Uwimana

“Elegance is not about being noticed. It's about being remembered.”
What We Stand For
Every piece is meticulously handcrafted by skilled Rwandan artisans using time-honored techniques.
We source ethically and use eco-conscious materials, honoring both beauty and responsibility.
A portion of every sale supports artisan communities and education programs in Kigali.
Our designs draw from Rwanda's rich cultural tapestry — its patterns, stories, and spirit.

The Craft
Our artisans bring generations of knowledge to every piece. From hand-hammered gold to stone-setting techniques passed down through families, each accessory carries the fingerprint of its maker — imperfect, intentional, and irreplaceable.

The Roots
Rwanda's Imigongo art, geometric patterns, and the legendary agaseke basket — these are not just inspiration. They are our foundation. We honor them not by copying, but by carrying their spirit into modern forms that feel both timeless and new.
